One Fine Spring Day

Ever since my neighbor moved in and put up this beautiful, turquoise gate, I've wanted to do portraits by it. My chance came the other day while out on a walk with some friends. The sun had set behind the trees, but there was enough light to play around for a few minutes.

Bridal Shower

It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon--perfect for celebrating Sheri's engagement! But more than the yummy Chinese food, fun games, and lemons bars and ice cream sundaes for dessert, I enjoyed just spending time with her. My bridesmaid dress came in yesterday, so now I need to find bronze or gold heels. Only seven weeks left until the wedding!

He is Risen Indeed!

All rain clouds hid away this weekend and instead the sun shone brightly in the sky. Surrounded by family and friends, we ate so much yummy food, went on a pleasant walk, and listened to an impromptu concert. Now the people are gone, it's dark outside, and the music room is silent. Yet life is still beautiful because Jesus is risen indeed! My sins, the guilt, and punishment no longer weigh over me! Because of His sacrifice, I have been made free and will enjoy Him forever in eternity!

Chloe Lydia: Nine Days Old

Yep, she's a cutie, just like I guessed! Chloe Lydia arrived on March 22, 2009 and is healthy and happy!
