I had been planning this wedding shoot as fun inspiration for the Sacramento Shoot & Share photography group I lead for over a month and still couldn’t find a date that would work for all the creative team. Finally it was decided that unless we did it that next week, it wouldn’t happen at all! When it looked like things were finally coming together, the night before the shoot, it started it snow! Something I couldn’t have planned even if I wanted to! So while things turned out differently than expected, thanks to a bunch of wonderful vendors and brave models, we have this gorgeous spring snow shoot!
Loving the contrast between the vintage lace wedding dress and the hunter rubber boots!
Hair & Makeup by Angela‘s fishtail braid detail was perfect, and Let’s Make Up with Marci‘s makeup artistry brought out Meredith’s beautiful eyes!
Meredith brought this blanket on her own just to keep warm between pictures, and I ended up incorporating it into some of the pictures. Love how it looks!
Allison and Will were such a cute couple and extremely, over-the-top amazing! While we would occasionally run to a camper to thaw out a little, they were always willingly to try something new and braved the elements for hours on end!
Rachel from Art in Bloom Flowers came through for us like she always does with unique and beautiful bouquets!
Her wedding dress was made from a combination of french lace, a skirt I created, and 10 yards of gauzy, flowing fabric!
Just love these real moments and our amazing location!
Talk about a guy who will do anything for his girl!
Channeling her inner Elsa from the movie Frozen!
