It seems like it was just a couple of years ago when Kelly was getting ready for her first day of Kindergarten. But here we are with almost two grown up girls, and already talking about needing to plan a senior portrait session sooner than later! Love being able to look back at old portraits we’ve done and see how much has changed!
And the quintessential swing picture that’s hung from a tree my uncle planted on the family farm way back when he was young!
Check out their past portraits to see how much they’ve grown!
Every time we are cleaning up after a styled inspirational shoot, I always say we should have planned a party to enjoy all the prettiness before having to break it all down. Well, all that lamenting finally came to fruit when Nicole from Roots Reclaimed planned this fun, southwest boho wedding/baby shower! After spending the morning capturing all this prettiness, family and friends gathered to celebrate the birth of a new little cowboy, Conway!
Bee, Leaves N’ Love created these bright, fun arrangements to hang with painted rope macrame that Roots Reclaimed created!
Of course our fence also had to be amazing–made from old wooden shutters–and vintage lace curtains overhead!
My favorite flowers were this swag decorating the tipi!
Cutest little moccasins from Freshly Picked!
This headdress didn’t fit Conway, so we just had to get a picture of Vintage the puppy wearing it!
And of course the shoot wouldn’t be complete without a picture of the warehouse kitty (or we should say “queen”) and her mini flower crown!

A ballet photo shoot has always been a dream of mine. So ballerinas at an abandoned castle with a Santa Barbara sunset? Yes!!
You can’t tell by looking, but Yvette and Jack are balancing on a narrow ledge!
Now I’m dreaming of a bridal ballet photo shoot! Any brides out there also ballerinas??

It’s always a huge compliment when another photographer asks you to shoot their portraits. Especially when they’re as cute and as sweet as Katie! Absolutely loved hanging out with her and creating some fun pictures for her to use on your website, etc.
Love how Angela Nunnink just accentuated Katie’s natural beauty and then added fun texture to her hair with this fishtail braid!
