It was so much fun to be able to sit around with wedding creative friends, just enjoying the treats and relaxation time while chatting it up! Erica from Tin Roof Farmhouse put together the perfect open house to show off her renovated barn and the most beautiful forest wedding inspiration! Thanks so much for the little party and hospitality, Erica!
The drapes out in the middle of the forest had me in awe!
Sweetest bride and groom sweetheart table with a vase of sweet peas!
You can be one with nature while getting prettified! ;-)
With days of prep and cleaning and a 5am wakeup call, it can only mean one thing: filming with Good Day Sacramento! While the morning was a little crazy getting out the door in time and the reporter, not realizing how far Grass Valley is up the hill, was an hour late, everything still turned out great! Here’s a sneak peek behind the scenes of our beautiful Valentine’s Day wedding styled inspiration!
No better way to start a wedding day than a little brunch while getting your hair and makeup done at The Studio Collective!
A sweetheart table for the bride and groom!
Lace, arrows, and gold sequins make the perfect backdrop!
The heart was created with old wine corks and a little glue!
The coral candles with air plants from Texas filling the extra brass candlesticks was such a great idea! Top the vintage china with glittery gold bows to complete the look!
It was still dark when we pulled into High Hand and peeked through the gates to find Nicole, Beth, and Angela using their iPhones to set up the last few details. Good Day Sacramento was shooting a couple of tv segments on Roots Reclaimed, and everything had to be ready when the crew arrived! As the show progressed and they went back and forth from being on air and off, I snuck around shooting all the details for their bohemian wedding inspiration as the sun came up over the horizon. Such a fun experience!
Beth and Nicole showed Amy how to create a simple string art project. What most people didn’t see is that it took all five of us scrambling in between segments to get it all done in time!
To show off the Roots Reclaimed vintage rentals and styling, Nicole and Beth set up this charming bohemian fall wedding!
Saturated jewel tones, mismatched china, colored goblets, gold flatware, and candles…I wished we were holding a celebration right then and there!
They even had a table number made out of string art!
The seating area was so inviting complete with some pillows they can just put together the night before!
Bee, Leaves N’ Love came through last minute with the perfect floral arrangements!
And there’s nothing more unique than this hanging cake table! Oddly enough the cake is even more protected because of the give of the stand when bumped vs your normal unsteady cake table!
I’m always in awe of the beautiful designs that Vintage Blossom Cakes creates!
I’m definitely a mountains and trees kind of girl, but there’s still something about shooting on the beach at the edge of the Pacific Ocean! You just have to love living in a place like California that has both!
This is a little catch up from February, but I’m so thankful to my friends who passed this shoot on to me at United 2014. Sunrise trash the dress bridal shoot on the beach? What a way to start off the week!
