There’s something about deadlines and projects that just don’t seem like they’re going to come together that remind me of my college years. But somehow, someway, the work always gets done, and you survive to live another day! Add in 3 hours of sleep some nights, desperate calls last minute to friends for help, and my entire family staying up late Saturday night for finishing touches, and you have the last days leading up to the One Fine Day bridal show at Miners Foundry! Really, if it wasn’t for the effort of so many people last week, it wouldn’t have come together so amazingly!
So it is with deep gratitude and thankfulness that I can share the result of all our hard work–a beautiful new booth to match my new brand and website!
That perfectly painted on logo there? That would be my sisters’ work at midnight. And no, they are not taking on any more projects at this time! ;-)
My couples were excited to see that they would be receiving all their images online to share with their family and friends, on any computer or mobile device!
A few key pieces from {storehouse} rentals and Roots Reclaimed were the perfect finishing touches to add a little fun and style!
Guestbooks these days don’t have to be full of lines with spaces for names and addresses. A book to showcase a couple’s engagement pictures and special notes from their loved ones is so much more meaningful and special!
The prerequisite awkward picture of me and my booth! Thanks for taking it and getting it in focus, Melanie! ;-)
If you couldn’t tell from the picture above, I embraced the free-spirited, bohemian style of the show and rocked this beautiful flower crown by Grass Valley Florist with Hair and Makeup by Angela‘s styling!
Here’s a peek into the rest of the show, which had some of the best wedding creatives in Nevada County!
Featuring a vintage bridal fashion show to inspire couples to think outside of the box and showcase their personalities!
Vintage Blossom Cakes never ceases to amaze me!
I just want to stay awhile in {storehouse} rentals‘ booth and enjoy her little feast!
Grown locally, the florals Little Boy Flowers put together were so unique and beautiful!
Yes to the whole spring/summery feel of Joy of Life Events‘ party!
The name and styling alone makes me hope to have Feast & Gather cater my next couple’s wedding!
And I can’t end without showcasing the talent of Roots Reclaimed! Her creativity and styling is just amazing, and you can see just a sneak peek in the next few pictures!
Seven foot tall reclaimed barn wood letters? Perfect for those that want to proclaim their love loud and clear! ;-)
You can’t beat a gold sequin backdrop and pink gauzy tepee!
Much thanks to Gold Dust Collective and Miners Foundry for dreaming up such a spectacular event! Can’t wait for next year!
Thanks for the links and the photo highlights, Lydia…it was a fun day!
Oh so many fabulous photos and amazing vendors! Yeah for local Nevada City weddings.
Thanks for the love Lydia!! As usual, your pictures are fabulous! Definitely a beautiful and unique wedding show, with sooo many talented vendors…..I can’t wait til next year either

Love your display. Do you mind me asking what were your frame sizes in your main display? Love them and your perfectly painted logo:)
Thanks
Lisa
Thanks Lisa! I’m not positive but I think they were the two largest sizes of these Ikea frames: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00268876
Hope that helps!
