Traditions are lovely things you do from year to year not because you have to, but because you want to. I think we started a new tradition today when Sheri and her mom came over and taught me, my sisters, and mom how to make tamales. After this I can never go back to enjoying store bought ones! They’re even better because of the time spent with friends while making them! Because we were making so many, we had to get creative with our steamers. I think we ended up with four huge pots with yummy goodness! After all our work we figured we could part with a dozen for a mere $40. Family would only have to pay $35. Interested? ;-)
