They were only 7 and 10 when Emily’s family moved to Indiana and met Tom’s family. Just family friends, friends of the whole family. So when Tom went off to West Point, Emily’s family began writing him to encourage him and send a little bit of cheer. Over time, one by one, the novelty wore off until Emily, who loved to write, was the sole correspondent. When one semester was spent at the Air Force Academy, Tom found it cheaper to make the trip to California for spring break, where Emily’s family now resided, then fly all the way home. Because they were family friends, you see. Yet their siblings agree that something happened on that visit. It was the beginning of a new friendship that would one day make them officially family!
Emily and Tom, I was so honored to have been there to witness the beginning of your new life and family together! Your dad’s words of wisdom, Emily, were so beautiful to hear, and I know that with Christ as your foundation, this beautiful day is just a glimpse of the love and friendship which will continue to grow and flourish!

From the pleated detail along the sweetheart neckline to the pickups throughout the skirt, Emily’s Anjolique dress was customized to perfection!

Emily was simply radiant and glowing with joy the whole day!

You just can’t beat dress blues!

Gorgeous girls!

Can you guess how much fun Tom was? One of the best laid back grooms ever!

Through a whole bunch of coordinating, we found this little spot at Howorth Park for Emily and Tom’s First Look. It was a sweet moment, just for the two of them to see each other for the first time and have a couple of minutes to themselves!

Favorite of the day!

Just love this angle that my second shooter, Elizabeth, was able to capture!

Tom’s father is an amazing organist who filled the church with music.

Another special musical treat was the processional and recessional played by Emily’s bagpipe teacher!

Even with a First Look, there’s still something special about seeing your bride walk down the aisle as you prepare to vow forever together!

A Scottish dancer herself, Emily’s friends choreographed a special dance called Our June Bride to celebrate her day!

One thing I love is seeing my past brides and groom and often their new, cute bundle of joy! Can’t help but fall in love with Anna and Sam‘s little guy!

Grandmas rejoicing in their conspiracy and a little boy with a gift for the bride!

Good and bad days, don’t let go of that hand beside yours!

These pictures of Tom and Emily are beautiful. I am Tom’s Grandma, how do I order a picture from you to complete my wall of Grandchildren pictures.
I see my last comment was last October. I still would like a wedding picture of Emily and Tom. They said that they would get me one for Christmas, but that never happened. I am still wanting a wedding picture for my wall of grandchildren. How do I buy a picture? esthermmussmann@gmail.com
Hi Grandma Mussmann! I’ll go ahead and email you again and see if I can get you setup so you don’t have to wait for them any longer!
